Filming & Photo Location in Hampshire

Holywell House is a handsome grade II listed country house which dates back to the 1700s, and is home to the Earl and Countess of Clarendon and their family. It is one of the few houses in England with a facade consisting of two double height bows flanking the main entrance, which is believed to be due to the French architectural influence at that time. Situated at the heart of the estate, it has commanding views over its parkland and down the vista surrounded by historical woodland. The Holywell Estate extends to over 800 acres of varied landscape from arable farmland, ancient semi-natural woodland, river meadows and historic parkland.

There are various locations either within the house, or throughout the estate as a whole for photo shoots or filming locations.

Please contact the Estate Office for further details on photo or filming opportunities.

We recently used Holywell House for our latest photo shoot (which involved moving around a huge amount of very heavy, unforgiving sofas and chairs), and we were spoilt for choice on locations. The house with its wonderful proportions made moving the furniture almost too easy. They could not have been more accommodating, and at no point did we feel we were intruding on the owners.
